An honor to be part of a prestigious set of publications. After I requested to join the Camerapixo Being Published Matters Facebook page I was instantly greeted by Kevin Holliday who, after taking the time to view my profile, gave me kind praise for my photography. In the following days I chatted with the Editor in Chief - Artur J. Heller who had the most friendly and helpful manner I have ever experienced from any administration. The same goes for all the team involved, including further messages from Executive Editor - Anetta G. Heller and also Thibault. This is a family of great inspiring photographers and I am very proud to be now part of that family and of my inclusion in my first Camerapixo publication - Hot Shots 08 Vol. 2 - Being Published Matters. I will continue my work after inspiration from the many wonderful images I have viewed in the publications so far. I would like to give a huge thank you to Anetta and Artur and all the team. Finally, as a qualified graphic designer, I would like to credit the outstanding attention to detail and design that goes into these Camerpixo publications as the are each, top quality from font to layout, front to back.
I am very selective regarding which publications I’ll do interviews for, and when Camerapixo approached me, I said yes. Why? Because Camerapixo strives to present a fresher point of view with photography, unlike so many of the “cookie-cutter publications” out there. Camerapixo delves into how a photographer thinks; why do they do what they do; and how do they see the world within their chosen medium. Camerapixo is also far-reaching. Just the other day, I received an email from a reader in Venezuela, saying how much he enjoyed my interview, and felt inspired. THAT is what a great magazine should do, and Camerapixo does... Inspire!
I discovered Camerapixo thanks to a friend that is already part of the community, and I can say I am proud to be a member as well since just few weeks. The inspiration given by the other photographers and the shared passion from all of them is not only a source of inspiration but a feeling of being a part of a family of artists. The quality of the choice, the edition, the website and the overall concept is a top-level, never seen elsewhere on the net. Thanks!
“It’s not what you capture that matters it’s how you interpret it that matters and will elevate it from a snapshot to a work of art” ~ Alfred Stieglitz. I was recently introduced to Camerapixo and immediately discovered what I was missing. Their assemblage of fine art photographers publishing cutting edge creations in Camerapixo is unrivaled. Annetta and Artur Heller have encourage and chosen me to publish in their community of the celebrated world wide photographers; an honor and humbling experience. What impresses me most is Anetta’s and Artur’s dedication to us as photographers, their attention to detail within Camerapixo while elevating fine art photography to unprecedented levels on a global stage. Thank you for giving us the platform and the family of photographic artists to showcase our fine art interpretations. Be well & all the best,
I live with severe mental health challenges in my life and photography has been my saving grace through this harrowing experience. It allows me the ability to lose myself completely in the observation, investigation and capturing of a subject. It also offers me the potential to illustrate my experiences of walking the tightrope between reality and illusion in a creative manner through my long-exposure images. With all honesty, I can truly say that if photography had not entered my life in 2012, I would probably not still be here on this planet! The support, encouragement and inclusion that has been offered to me by Anetta, Artur and the rest of the Camerapixo crew has been amazing and life-affirming for me. To have had the honour of being included with so many amazingly talented photographers that I view as leagues above my ability is humbling, invigorating and has given me a sense of purpose and hope for the future, regardless of what is going on for me day-to-day. So, to all of the Camerapixo crew, I send you all a huge and heartfelt thanks, and the biggest, warmest hug! Namaste Alex Mausolf
On April the 14th I was among the accredited photographers to the ABB FIA Formula E Championship in Rome. An important event, made of many meetings, culminating in a very exciting race. Camerapixo made the difference. Press accreditation opened the doors for me, as a professional. Artur and Anetta have always been helpful in these years, as photographers themselves, they have the right care and attention for our needs. Thank you for your support.
I discover Camerapixo publications only a few weeks ago, and I was immediately subjugated by the very high quality of the presented photos. For chance, 2 of my pictures have already been published here, and I am very honored to be a part of this incredible community which extends in the whole world. To be published here gives certainly a better opportunity to amateurs like me to be appreciated and commented by other photographers, and to increase its owns skills. Thank you of course to Anetta and Artur for their amazing work as editors, and for their inestimable support in all opportunities.
For some time, I was looking for a possibility of presenting my works in publications. Camerapixo magazine has enabled me to do just that and even more. I was and still am very happy with very good quality and professional approach to project as well as amazing graphic system. Bravo.
