Viral Padiya biography

Viral Padiya is a well-known nature enthusiastic international award-winning landscape and travel photographer from India based in the USA. His work has been recognized internationally winning many accolades and awards, especially in the panoramic category. He developed his interest using manual SLR in the early stage of school; since then he is passionate about fine art photography to capture beautiful dramatic landscapes. It is his dream to capture beautiful sceneries across the world in the short span of life and share them with his followers. For Viral, photography is something he absolutely loves to do whenever he travels and see something extravagant and ineffably beautiful like the reflection of the sunlight in the ocean from high altitude, two people walking into the sunset holding each others’ hands, graffiti on the walls of the streets or animals living their ways of life, etc. He believes photography makes memories and moments you experience permanently in your life and share them with others who might not have lived those moments. Most of the times Viral likes to capture landscapes during sunrise or sunset that gives dramatic colors, spending hours and hours to capture the right light and the moment.

Artist Statement:

Photography has been my world of wonder since the early stage of architectural school in 1994; since then with a spirit for adventure, photography became a passion. As a self-taught photographer, I love to capture the beautiful moment between frames on my camera. It's a wonderful opportunity to be out in the wilderness, be connected with beautiful God's creation, feel different things and spaces around, which makes the captured photographs more stunning and really unique. Nature inspires me the most and I believe in capturing unique landscapes with stories to tell is what defines creativity. Like Dante Alighieri once said, “nature is the art of God”, there is a feeling of contentment in my heart, to look at the art that was created millions of years ago naturally which still lives on and, to wait and capture that same beauty and abstractness through the camera lens.
